Effective Date
This warranty is effective from the date the assembly is placed into service. Coverage When supplied as a complete assembly, all components and sub-assemblies are guaranteed for 5 years. In all other instances, components and sub-assemblies supplied by Belco Doors carry a 2 year warranty.
This warranty applies to the repair or replacement, at the Manufacturer’s option, of parts that fail due to defective material or workmanship. The Manufacturer may, at its option, provide factory reconditioned parts. This warranty is provided to the Authorized Belco Dealer on behalf of the final purchaser of the product and is not transferable. The Manufacturer’s warranty does not cover labour charges associated with the removal, repair or replacement of warranty parts or components.
Conditions
This warranty applies only to products installed and regularly maintained by a Belco Doors Authorized Dealer in conformance with all applicable code requirements and in accordance with the recommendations contained in the Installation Manual. It is the owner’s responsibility to retain records of such service and maintenance during the warranty period. Shipment of replacement parts will be sent standard ground delivery, any expidited or special terms deliveries will be billable at the customers expense.
This warranty does not apply to the following:
- Items subject to normal wear such as door sweeps and weather seals (where provided).
- Malfunction or damage to the product caused by accident, misuse, abuse or vandalism, lack of proper maintenance, unauthorized modification or alteration, improper installation or structural condition of building or hoistway.
- Premature wear or corrosion of assemblies or components subjected to unusual or extreme atmospheric or environmental conditions including exposure to chemical or airborne contaminants.
- Failure of the product or components selected for use beyond the scope of the manufacturer’s recommendations.
